I was staring at the full moon when it came to me:

The world is greater than any one species.

Whatever we do to ourselves, the world remains. Whatever we do to the earth, the moon remains; the sun; the stars; the galaxy; the universe.

Our capacity to destroy is not so great that we can take down all with us. Though we choose to take ourselves out of the running, the whole remains.

It just won't contain us.

Comments:
How true!

Life will go on without humans on the face of the planet... humano-centric thinking is what has gotten us to this point of near environmental crisis.

Problem is this... homo sapiens are the only species that have stopped adapting themselves to their environment... we adapt our environment to suit us... this is a problem the world has never seen before...
